Stonegate group is investing in our Communications team and are looking for a Communications Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and executing our internal communication strategy. The Communications Manager will make sure that our company mission, pillars and values are the bedrock of all activity, working together with the wider Communication and Engagement team to develop, create and deliver engaging, inspiring, consistent communication messages and campaigns to a broad audience. You will be agile, curious and creative, a passionate writer, think outside the box, naturally build strong relationships and have impeccable communication skills.

Key responsibilities for the Communication Manager will include:

Develop and maintain a clear internal communications calendar; ensuring alignment with our mission pillars and values; and timely preparation and planning to maximise engagement and effectiveness of all communication. Develop and create communication materials, formats, styles and tone that will appeal to a broad audience and support the effectiveness of all communication. Build relationships with stakeholders across all functions to integrate communication updates and key messages into the overall communications plan and calendar. Proof and sign off of a wide range of internal and external communication, content and materials. Partner with our PR Manager to ensure we have an aligned internal and external communication strategy and provide cover during periods of annual leave. Work with our Communication Channel Manager to develop our communications channels and maximise reach and impact. Collaborate with our Events Manager to create engaging and compelling content and materials for all Group engagement and recognition events.

You’ll need to have:

• Qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in a communication role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a creative flare and the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and platforms.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry would be a benefit but the right candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in Pubs, Bars and Venues
