Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Shropshire, TF10 9AT

Job type: Full Time, Permanent

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days including weekend work

Salary: £36,000 to £40,000 per annum + Excellent benefits

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Head Chef to join us at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

 

Lilleshall is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Lilleshall provides excellent facilities to Britain’s leading sports men and women. Lilleshall is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.

  

In this role you will lead the Chef operation at Lilleshall, which consists of hospitality such as weddings, conferences, restaurant, and the day-to-day servery for the athletes that stay on site

 

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will have scheduling responsibility to 3 Kitchen Porters and 6 chefs, as well as running the catering operation in conjunction with the food services manager.   

 

You will need to be fully flexible with the working pattern to cover mornings, evenings, and weekends. This is for weddings, functions, and servery as site requirement.

 

You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts, and excellent development opportunities.

 

About you

 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Lilleshall, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.

 

Previous Kitchen Management experience and food safety qualifications are essential to be considered for this role.
