Lifeguard - Windsor, Berkshire

Job Type: Guaranteed Hours - Seasonal (Fixed End Date)

Location: LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AY

Hours: Fully Flexible; working up to 5 days out of 7, covering hours that can be between 07:00am - 08:00pm (up to 9:30pm during our peak season on a rotational basis)

Roles & Responsibilities

Our awesome LEGOLAND Hotel has a Brick-Tastic pool where our guests can enjoy family splash time and take away some extra special memories from their Resort stay. As a LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel pool Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring the pool while carrying out the appropriate scanning pattern, manning the pool check in area and welcoming our guests to their swim session confirming any information that they might require. You’ll keep an eye on the pool ratios, always maintaining the highest standard of health and safety, and making sure our guests are complying with our pool regulations to keep them safe.

You will also work within our changing room and gym facilities, ensuring both areas are kept clean and tidy, presented to a high standard for our guests.

As a qualified Lifeguard you will ensure you keep your training up to date and relevant, with the mandatory attendance of monthly NPLQ training and team building sessions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a current NPLQ qualification
• Ideally hold a First Aid or Emergency Aid at work Certificate
• Be able to clearly communicate to our guests and your colleagues
• You will have a good working knowledge of the PSOP and Health & Safety requirements of the area
• Passionate about pool safety!

About the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort

We are looking for Lifeguards to join our team at the LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort. Our Resort is home to over 55 rides, live shows and attractions and is known the world over as being the ultimate LEGO® theme park experience for families with children aged 2-12 in the UK! Set in 150 acres of parkland, LEGOLAND is home to not only the iconic theme park, but also offers two incredible LEGO themed Hotels plus the brand new Woodland Village opening in 2024! This role is based at the Windsor Resort site – which is pretty awesome if you ask us!
