Sports Direct Malaysia is currently looking for a  Shop Manager to join the Fearless team. 

Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Job Description

  • Review and keep track of sales (set daily target and ensure achievement of sales target).
  • Reports to Area Manager on staff performance and sales/shop performance.
  • Lead and manage a team of retail staff to produce the best performance.
  • Handle overall shop operations and ensure consistency in the standard of retail operations.
  • Review staff strength and delegate of duties accordingly.
  • Liaise/follow up with HQ on stocks support.
  • Implement/execute sales & promotion plans.
  • Provide feedback on stocks, customers, and market situation to HQ.
  • Execute and monitor theft prevention SOPs
  • Responsible to increase/build clientele (database) to increase regular customers.
  • Conduct staff performance appraisal to identify strength and weakness
  • Lead the team to provide and excel customer service as per the brand standards
  • Conduct operational training (OJT) to staff and monitor accordingly
  • Any other assignment as directed by immediate superior as and when required.

Qualifications

  • At least a Certificate/Diploma or Degree in any related field of study.
  • At least 5 - 7 years working experience in the retail industry 
  • Preferably shop managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
  • Have passion and knowledge in sports is an advantage.
  • Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work long hours, weekends, public holidays and shift duty.
