OVERVIEW 
Are you ready to take that first step onto the culinary ladder? Do you want to experience working in a fantastic Restaurant?  As a Culinary Apprentice at our new Ty Newport  Hotel you will get the best head start in the industry! 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR … 
As a Culinary apprentice you will have a real passion and dedication for all things culinary with an eagerness to learn the trade. Your excellent communication skills along with the ability to follow direction and instructions will be second to none. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO … 
Dressed in your freshly laundered chef whites you will work in the fabulous Rib Smokehouse and Grill and cater for larger functions such as weddings during your apprenticeship.  Working together with your kitchen and front of house team, you will follow recipes and presentation specifications and clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.  You will be able to learn a great foundation in the culinary world whilst been guided by the expertise of our Senior Chefs who will hand down their wisdom and experience.

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive your Level 2 qualification in Professional Cookery.
