The Britannia Manchester is a large 363-bedroom hotel that offers its own Pizzeria, 4 on-site Bars and nine conference rooms that can accommodate up to 200 people, making us the best venue for hosting conferences, meetings, and special events.

The Sachas Hotel is a 223-Bedroom hotel, and our main event facility is the USA Suite, which happens to be one of the biggest conference rooms in the city centre and can accommodate up to 550 guests. The hotel is frequently used for large business events & wedding functions.

Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full-Time Assistant Cluster Maintenance Manager onto the team. Main duties will include:

  • Supervise the daily operation of the maintenance team.
  • Liaise with the hotel’s operational departments to ensure all guest needs and operational functions are prioritised.
  • Ensure necessary inspections of lifts, boilers etc are carried out and records maintained.
  • Ensures regular testing and management of the hotel’s safety systems.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Conduct the recruitment, training and management of maintenance personnel and assists in the training of all staff in respect of statutory training.
  • Familiarity of HVAC systems is essential.

The successful candidate must have experience in plumbing, electrical or general building maintenance. Previous management experience within a maintenance function in a medium to large hotel or similar is desirable. You will have effective interpersonal, organisational and people management skills.
