Catering Assistant - Edinburgh, Midlothian
Grade and Salary: Grade 3 (£21,901 - £22,681)
FTE and working pattern: 35 hours (1 FTE), Rota based shift pattern
Annual leave: 28 days
Purpose of Role: The Bistro Assistant will deliver service excellence to squads and facility users.
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Bistro Assistant will provide excellent counter service
- The Bistro Assistant will help support squad delivery
- The Bistro Assistant will maintain Bistro facility cleaning at all times
- The Bistro Assistant will work to upsell Bistro items
Education, Qualifications & Experience:

Essential
- Demonstrable ability to speak and understand English in order to follow verbal and written instructions and deal with customer/student queries
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable excellent customer service
- Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a pressured environment
- Demonstrable professional and proactive approach
- Attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience of working within a similar catering and/or cleaning environment
- Experience of operating relevant catering and/or cleaning equipment
